The ring-necked parakeet (budgie) of Jan van Eyck takes you on an exciting voyage of discovery through the Groeningemuseum. In the task book, he lands not only near the world-famous paintings by the Flemish Primitives, but also near lesser-known works of modern masters. A series of search, look and do-tasks will help you to learn more about six centuries of painting and sculpture. The parakeet will also give you one of his very own green feathers, which you can use to mark your favourite work of art. Which piece deserves a feather in its cap?
