We have published an attractive catalogue for the exhibition A key to the arts. Drawings by European old masters from the Bruges gallery of prints. This catalogue examines 50 masterpiece drawings from the Gallery of Prints. The richly illustrated book describes drawings by renowned artists such as Jacques Callot, Frans Floris and Govaert Flinck, but also less well known designers such as Jan van Mieris, Theodoor van Thulden en Lodewijk de Deyster. Research has yielded new attributions and iconographic interpretations which are clarified at length in this publication.
