Marie Vanderghinste

Educational staff member Apprentice-Master II

Marie Vandeghinste is an educational staff member on the Apprentice-Master research project. She translates research insights into public-oriented activities that make art more accessible to visitors. In her previous position, she worked on public outreach for the Museum Sint-Janshospitaal and the Rebel Garden exhibition (2024).

She has a Master's degree in Art History, specialising in 19th-century art, and her interests focus primarily on feminist perspectives, mythology, and art appreciation. For her master's thesis, she examined the representation of sexually transgressive behaviour between nymphs and satyrs in the sculptures of Jean-Antoine Injalbert.
