Who are we?

Musea Brugge is a department of the City of Bruges, with registered office at Burg 12, 8000 Brugge. The personal data communicated by you will be processed by the City of Bruges - Museums Department (hereinafter: "Musea Brugge"). This is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation which entered into force on 25 May 2018.

What data does Musea Brugge collect?

  • Information you provide to us: Musea Brugge collects personal data (such as name, age), contact details (such as address, e-mail address, phone number), financial identification data (such as account number, company number, VAT number), that you provide to us among other things through contact forms, e-mail, the ticket shop or webshop, by phone, social media, etc.

How long do we keep your data?

Musea Brugge keeps your personal data as long as required by law and no longer than necessary for the intended purpose. You can also request at any time that your data be deleted, by contacting musea@brugge.be.

What are your rights?

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation), you have a right to access, correct and, if necessary, delete your data. To exercise these rights, please contact musea@brugge.be.
