Settle down on your picnic blanket in the shade of the tall trees and join our potluck, be enchanted by poetry performances, perform at the open mic or challenge each other to a game of kubb.
On Car Free Sunday, escape the hustle and bustle of the city and come to the Gezelle garden, a hidden, green and quiet spot in Brugge.
Settle down on your picnic blanket in the shade of the tall trees and join our plant-based potluck: a picnic where everyone brings a (vegan) snack to share. Do you have a special family recipe? A speciality from your native country? A dish you'd like to share? Bring at least two portions, so there's sure to be enough for everyone.
Throughout, there is artisan coffee (Dees coffee) and a bar with drinks at democratic prices. You don't need to bring desserts either: from 2pm onwards, Food Wave will offer free freshly baked and 100% plant-based pies from Magpies.
Get enchanted by poetry performances or sing along with Community Music Making, together with Taranta. From 1pm there will be an open mic. Do you play an instrument or do you like to sing? Want to bring a poem, share a beautiful quote or read a short story in your native language? It's all possible. You are most welcome to share your talents on our free stage.
Challenge each other to a game of kubb or old folk games. Feel free to bring your own favourite game. For the little ones, we provide a fun craft table.
Our museum guides will also be happy to show you around House Gezelle. Free of charge, every half hour between 2pm and 4pm.
In short, something for everyone at this relaxed, cosy MB on Sunday!
In cooperation with Food Wave Brugge and Taranta, with support from the City of Bruges
