Holidays

We are open on public holidays during the regular opening hours. Exceptions:

  • 24 December: our museums close at 4 pm
  • 25 December: all museums are closed
  • 31 December: our museums close at 4 pm
  • 1 January: all museums are closed
  • Ascension day: all museums are closed in the afternoon, the Church of Our Lady is closed all day
  • Easter Monday and Whit Monday: all museums are open, with the exception of Brugse Vrije (Liberty of Bruges), Gezelle House and O.L.V. ter Potterie (Our Lady of the Pottery)

Good to know

  • Entry possible up to 30 min. before closing time (Belfry: 60 min.)
  • A museum may be closed for exceptional reasons (works, dismantling of an exhibition, etc.). Check the location pages for more information before your visit.

Tickets and entrance charges

Musea Brugge counts 13 locations. You will find all the rates here or per location. You can buy tickets at the box office or online. We recommend booking your tickets in advance. Online tickets

You can buy your admission tickets online to be sure of your visit. Visitors who have free access (children, Bruges residents) or enjoy a reduction can also book online.

We also offer tickets at the box office. You can buy tickets for all our locations in the museum pavilion at the Gruuthusemuseum, in our central museumshop (Dijver 16) and in all our museum (except for O.L.V. ter Potterie and O.L.V.-kerk).
