Order your tickets in advance. You can do this easily in our online ticket shop. That way you can be sure of your place! You can also buy tickets at the ticket offices as long as the maximum capacity has not been reached.


Opening hours

Musea Brugge counts 13 locations. You can find all opening hours per location.

  • Entry possible up to 30 min. before closing time (Belfry: 60 min.)
  • Closing day: Monday (except for Easter and Whit Monday)
  • Belfort, Brugse Vrije, O.L.V.-kerk Museum and Stadhuis are open 7 days a week.
  • All museums are closed on 01/01, Ascension day (afternoon) and 25/12.


  • A museum may be closed for exceptional reasons (works, dismantling of an exhibition, etc.). Check the location pages for more information before your visit.

  • Musea Brugge counts 13 locations. You will find all the rates per location.
  • Due to the corona measures, it is recommended to buy tickets online in advance.
  • Also children and those who have free access or enjoy a reduction should buy a ticket.
  • Musea Brugge also offers tickets at the box office. In the museum pavilion at the Gruuthusemuseum and in Stadhuis you can buy tickets for all our locations. If you want to be sure of your visit, buy your ticket online in advance.

  • All locations (except Belfort) are free for children -13 years old. The Belfort is free for children up to and including 6 years of age.
  • All locations (except Belfort) are free for school groups with young people under the age of 18 years old.
  • Young people (13 up to and including 25 years old) are entitled to a reduction rate for a museum or an exhibition, as indicated.

Audio tours

We offer free audio tours in some of our museums. You can follow these tours on your own device (smartphone or tablet). Be sure to bring headphones or earphones to listen to the audio. Scan the QR code in the entrance hall and off you go.

  • Tickets cannot be purchased by telephone or via e-mail.
  • An e-ticket cannot be changed, exchanged or cancelled after payment.
  • If a museum cannot be opened due to 'force majeure' at Musea Brugge, the visitor will receive an e-mail and will receive a voucher with the value of the ticket purchased (valid for three months).
  • Please note that all information is subject to change for compelling reasons.
  • You may be photographed or filmed during your museum visit. These recordings can be used in our communication. Please report any objections immediately to the photographer/cameraman.
  • There is also permanent camera supervision in all of our locations.

A visitor who enters one of the locations of Musea Brugge is assumed to agree with our general terms and conditions for online sales and our internal rules.
